I felt the same way while cleaning out my '94 Ford Ranger. Last Fall, when I found out the low compression in one cylindar was responsible for the putt-puttness, I decided to look for a preowned vehicle. Whether luck or blessing, I bought the first one I looked at, a black '01 Ford Ranger short box.
